Nexus Resource Solutions are working with a well-established engineering company that offers engineering services to the water industry. The company are investing in their fabrication side of the business with new equipment and adding additional personnel. This is an excellent opportunity to get in at the growth stage which could present role progression as they grow.

The Candidate:

·Candidates should be experienced in all types of Fabrication using stainless and mild steel

·The client does a lot of sheet metal and lighter work as well as secondary steel

·You must have the ability to read from Engineering drawings and work on your own initiative in a workshop environment

·There will also be some site work involved. All training will be provided along with putting you through the relevant certifications like IPAF, CSCS, Confined Space etc

·This is a fast-paced workshop where we require people to have good communication skills, a positive attitude and who are extremely flexible in their approach to all aspects of Engineering and their working hours.

·You must be able to fabricate from drawings, MIG and TIG weld and ideally be able to use a CNC Brake Press or CNC Plasma cutter

Rates/Overtime:

  • £16.50ph-£17.50ph DOE

  • Overtime is 1.5x weekdays and Sat mornings

  • 28 days holiday

  • Health Insurance

  • Xmas shut down paid for separate from holiday allowance 

Hours:

  • 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday

  • 8am - 3pm on a Friday

  • 39hr week
